The pool has a pool cover, the property is fully enclosed, and there are a few small steps to the bedrooms and bathrooms. Generally the house is child-safe, but as with any self-catering stay, please supervise children around the pool and steps.
Starter firewood pack and ice, plus coffee, tea, sugar, milk, salt and olive oil to start you off. Please bring your own beach towels, and bedding for your dogs is required.
Yes. Uncapped Wi-Fi throughout, and a smart TV with the full DStv suite and Netflix. Cellphone signal in the village varies by network.
Standard minimum stay is 2 nights. High season minimum stay is 7 nights. Over a public holiday, the stay must cover the full long weekend the holiday falls within (for example, if the public holiday is a Friday, the stay must run from Thursday night through Sunday).
A 50% deposit is required to secure your dates, with the remaining balance due 30 days before arrival. There is also a R1,000 refundable damage deposit, and a cleaning fee of R500.
Yes, by pre-arrangement, up to a maximum of two well-behaved medium-sized dogs. There is an additional pet charge of R600 per dog, per stay. The garden is fully enclosed, and we ask that you bring your own pet bedding.
Vredenburg, about 15 minutes away, or order through Checkers Sixty60 prior to your arrival. The village shop covers basics only, so it is best to arrive stocked.
There is a rock-pool beach in front of the house and a larger swimming beach 100m to the left. The Atlantic is cold year-round. The splash pool is semi-solar-heated.
